NIC Damoh District Unit was formally set up in the year 1988 . The topmost priority before the district unit was to initiate a computer culture among the employees of various State Government  department. Ever since the inception of the Damoh Centre many projects have been accomplished successfully for facilating e-governess in the region. NIC,Damoh is rendering technical support to various State Government departments for site identification, training to users and implementaion support

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

NIC, Damoh has equiped with Direcway VSAT & 2 MBPS Leased Data Circuit  installed for data transmission. One window 2003 server,One Window 2000 server with three clients and one linux client machine. The center has also provided RAS finder for dial up connectivity to state government departments.

Activities

 

Payroll computerization – NIC has computerized paybill of collectorate in the year 1996. Initially land records, Agriculture, Finance, Treasury, Nazul, Tehsil departments have computerized. In the year 1996 unix based foxplus s/w was used. The unix based s/w was switched over to window based in the   March’2005. Presently, windows based payroll processing software is being used at Collectorate, Agriculture, Land Record, Health and District Jail etc.

 

Agmarknet project  - All the four  mandies of Damoh District  are computerized under Agmarknet Project. Email connectivity has been given through NIC RAS server for daily transmission of mandi rates data.

 

Headstart Project -46 schools of Damoh are computerized under Headstart Project. Hardware were supplied by NICSI and site preparation and installation done under the guidance of NIC Damoh.

 

E-gram subhidha : Tehsil level Map of Damoh District digitized . E-gram suvidha GIS of Damoh district developed by NIC MP State Unit under paid project implemented .

 

District Court Computerisation : Under the computerization of District Court , NIC has established a computer Centre in District Court. Payroll , DCIS and other officer work are  done through computer. Email & Internet connectivity has been given through NIC RAS server.

 

District Administraton computerization : NIC Damoh is providing extensive support to the district administration in computerization of small and big projects. Time Limit Paper, Public grievances,Arms licence,PDMS, CNAA, ICDS, Collector Conference report, BRISK are computerized.

 

ELECTION :  In Loksabha & Vidhansabha election NIC Damoh acting a major role. All election work are done through computers. Polling party formation,polling station randamization,polling percentage and counting result are done through computer.NIC is also providing computerization support in Panchayat,Mandi & Municipalty Elections.

 

Training : NIC Damoh are conducting regular training programme for state government staff & Officers. NIC Damoh has trained nearly 100 employees of various departments of the District.

 

LAN Installation : Local Area Network has been established in Collectorate for data transmission, email & internet access.  The NIC has extended LAN connectivity to Food, Rajeev Gandhi Siksha Mission, Agriculture, Panchayat & Social Justice, Election, Tribal Welfare, Excise, Planning and Antvavsayi Departments.   The Collector & ADM Chambers and Samadhan Kendra  are also connected through LAN.

 Video Conferencing facility :  Video Conferencing Studio has been established in the District . Most of the departments are reviewing their schemes on weekly basis through NIC video Conferencing Facility.

 Email & Internet Service : Email/Internet connection provided to 52 state government departments.

 Land Records Computerisation : All the 7 tehsils have been computerized under the land records computerization.
